DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS:

A. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide a level, unobstructed pathway from the unloading site to the destination. Your hot tub / swim-spa dimensions are __________”H x __________”W x __________”L.

The customer is responsible for removing debris, gates, fences, doors, landscaping, windows, retainer wall, etc. and/or performing other general maintenance such as trimming branches in order to deliver the spa. If the tub is unable to be delivered due to an unclear path, Grove Pools will need to reschedule, and a $250 re-delivery fee will apply.

B. For standard delivery, the elevation should not exceed 30″ from ground level, or the pass through of one ground level doorway. If your hot tub is to be delivered onto an elevated deck or partition above 30″, additional fees will apply. If the elevation is deemed too high for standard delivery with additional manpower, as decided by Grove Pools, a crane, forklift, or other equipment will be needed at the buyer’s expense. Swim spas require a site visit prior to contracting.

C. Grove Pools is not responsible for damage to the hot tub / swim-spa or buyers’ property for deliveries exceeding the guidelines. There can be some wear to the ground due to the equipment used to deliver the products. Sliding the tub into place can cause scuffs on the pavers or decking. To avoid this, Grove Pools will use boards to lay over the area to make shifting the tub easier. We are not responsible for any cosmetic damage to the product or surface.

D. All hot tubs should be placed on a firm, level surface, preferably on a 4″ minimum cement slab. Swim spas will need to be reinforced with rebar and may need more support. Please refer to the owner’s manual for proper surface installations. The surface provided for the hot tub to sit on must be level. Grove Pools cannot level the hot tubs per installation guidelines. If your surface is unlevel, we can offer this service at an additional cost.

E. The hot tub or swim-spa must be completely accessible on all 4 sides with a minimum of 3′ of space with no restrictions or obstructions for routine maintenance or service. If adequate access is not provided, service may be declined, and a crane may be needed at the buyer’s expense, or additional service fees may be charged.

F. Grove Pools can remove your existing hot tub at a flat fee of $350 when delivering your new tub. All delivery requirements apply.

G. Improper electrical setup (i.e. not enough whip or incorrect wiring / GFCI, amperage, etc.) will prevent Grove Pools from making an electrical connection and filling the hot tub. If you would like Grove Pools to return for a hot tub fill, there will be additional charges on a case-by-case basis. Our electrician can make necessary repairs at an additional charge.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Grove Pools does not provide electrical installations. A licensed electrician must follow any and all applicable codes and must be wired according to the manufacturer’s specifications. All 220V / 240V spas and swim-spas must have an accessible GFCI breaker/service disconnect installed on the outside of the house in accordance with local codes or at a minimum of 5′ from the hot tub. If you do not have a licensed electrician, follow proper manufacturers’ instructions; the warranty will be voided, and service cannot be performed until all wiring and disconnect issues are resolved. We strongly discourage using an Eaton GFCI breaker. You will need enough wire to reach the front corner of your spa, plus 6 more feet. Depending on the brand and model, wiring and conduit can run through the inside of the hot tub. On swim spas, there may be (2) electrical connections and/or a junction box.

WARRANTIES & SERVICE:

The manufacturer thoroughly tests the spa before it leaves the plant. In the event that the delivery is complete and a component does not work properly, it will not warrant that the tub be replaced, but it can be a warranty claim. If there is a major problem, it can be discussed with the manufacturer before taking action. The goods purchased may include certain warranties by the manufacturer, in which case the specific terms of the manufacturer’s warranties will apply and should be reviewed by the buyer. Warranties are typically for residential use only. Commercial use of the product will potentially void the manufacturer’s warranty. Grove Pools does assess a $99 diagnostic fee for any warranty work over 180 days of ownership. Grove Pools charges $2 per mile outside of 30 miles for any work.

FLOOR MODELS/AS-IS:

All floor model hot tubs and swim spas will be sold in AS-IS CONDITION, but will still carry the manufacturer’s warranty. All aesthetic issues, such as scratches or cracked panels, are as is. Order must be fulfilled (picked up or delivered) within 30 days of purchase, or will be cancelled with a 20% service fee.

PAYMENT AND DELIVERY TIMEFRAME:

All sales are final. The minimum down payment is $1,000 for in-stock/ demo tubs. The remaining balance will be due 5 days before product delivery. If the delivery is scheduled beyond 14 days from the deposit, 50% of the balance is due.

For special order tubs, a 50% down payment is required, and the remaining balance will be due 5 days before product delivery.

FINANCING:

For financed sales, the customer must provide a minimum of 10% deposit. Financing deals will be scheduled ONLY after funding from the bank. Because of unforeseen production delays and other issues, it may be necessary for you to begin making payments to the bank prior to installation. I have read and agree to the above terms and conditions.
